stamped #10 envelope ñ will receive two (2) Big Mac Classic

How do you play - and win - this game?
The goal of The Big Mac Classic Golf Game is to
collect 9 game pieces ñ one for each of the 9 holes ñ that results
in the lowest score. Remember, in golf, it's the lowest score that
wins. So, you can keep collecting Big Mac Classic Game
Pieces by making purchases until you have nine ñ one for
each hole ñ right up to the very end of the game on 08/10/03
so long as your entry is postmarked by 08/23/03 and received
by 08/30/03. (To see how to play without making purchases
If you truly work at the game you'll likely receive more than one
Big Mac Classic Game Piece for each hole. But all you
really care about is submitting the lowest Big Mac Classic
Game Piece for each hole. The lowest score possible is 16. A score
of 30 or below is competitive. (The odds table governing the types
of Big Mac Classic Game Pieces distributed reveals
that there are many scores of par and relatively few of everything
else. To view the official odds table click here.)
The lowest valid score submitted - whether held by one player or
thousands - will share a $5,000 cash pool. So, if there are
100 valid scores of 16, each player with a valid 16 would receive a
check for $50. The 3,000 lowest scores are entered into a Grand
Prize drawing held on or about 09/17/03. (To view a list of
the Grand Prizes click here.)
The lowest 3,000 scores are determined by starting with the lowest
score and adding successively higher scores until there are a total
of 3,000 players. So, for example, if there are 100 players with 16,
2,800 players with 17, and 4,000 players with 18, the 2,900 players
with 16 and 17 are in the drawing, as are 100 randomly selected
players from the 4,000 with 18, rounding out the universe for the
Grand Prize drawing at 3,000.

How do the Instant Win prizes work?
You may receive a game piece with an instant win prize attached.
(To see an example of a Big Mac Classic Game Piece
with an Instant Win Stub please click
here.)
To claim the prize, carefully cut the Instant Win Stub
off and present it at a participating Columbus or Central Ohio
McDonald's location on or before 8/31/03. The Instant Win
Stub is attached to a relatively rare (low score) Big
Mac Classic Game Piece so take care not to damage the main
game piece you may ultimately submit with your mailed-in entry. One
of the Instant Win prizes is an invitation to a Hole-in-One contest
to be held on 9/26/03 at the Blackhawk Golf. To participate, you
must call Blackhawk Golf Club at 740-965-1042 by 5:00 p.m. EST on
9/8/03 to register. Contestants must present the Invitation
Stub at the event no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday 9/26/03.
The Invitation Stub is transferable, so non-golfers
who receive it may give it to friends or family who golf. Members of
the PGA or LPGA are ineligible. Another Instant Win prize can be
redeemed for free round of golf ñ weekdays only ñ at the Crystals
Springs Golf Club located at 745 N. Hopewell Road, Hopewell, OH
43746 (for directions click here).
To claim the Free Round of Golf prize call ahead, schedule your
round and present the Instant Win Stub portion of the
game piece when you arrive at Crystal Springs for your golf date.
The starter or other official at Crystal Springs Golf Club will take
possession of the Instant Win Stub when the prize is
redeemed. Do not turn in your entire Big Mac Classic Game
Piece when redeeming the Instant Win Stub for
a free round of golf. Repeat: You must call the Crystal Springs
Golf Club at 1-800-787-1705 and schedule your round of golf before
trying to redeem your Instant Win Stub for a free round of
golf. Though every effort will be made to accommodate winners,
there is no guarantee that the time and date you choose will be
available. All rules and regulations of the Crystal Springs Golf
Club are in force and must be complied with when redeeming a free
round of golf.

What are the odds of receiving a low scoring game piece?
The Big Mac Classic game pieces issued in-store and distributed
via US Mail are ultimately governed by an odds table that, as you'd
expect, issues more scores of par than scores below par. Click
here
to see the official odds table. The day and time when a given game
piece is issued is randomly determined. So, for example, the low
scoring pieces are not intentionally held until the end of the game.
The lowest possible total score on the nine (9) holes is 16, but a
score of 30 below is competitive.

How many visits will it take me to get a score for each of the
nine holes?
The game is designed such that 13 to 17 visits over the 4 weeks
results in a good chance at collecting at least one score for each
of the nine holes. This may sound like a lot of visits, but games
like The Big Mac Classic are also designed to
accommodate the fact that many of you will play as a team - be it a
family, an office, a group of friends, etc. Regardless, there is
often more than one person working at the task of collecting pieces,
so a competitive, well-designed game takes this tendency toward
collaboration into account.

Can I enter more than once?
Yes, you can enter more than one properly completed Big Mac
Classic Score Card into the contest (one entry per
envelope), but a given household - physical address - cannot win
more than one (1) Grand Prize. And, should you be lucky enough to
receive two or more Invitation Stubs to the
Hole-in-One Contest, you can only use one of them, though you are
free to give the others to qualified family or friends (Ohio
residents 18 years or older).

How do I print my online Big Mac Classic Score
Card?
Print the score card just as you would print any Web page. Go to
File in the tool bar of your browser and select print. Or, better
yet, use the print button that we provide on the Web page. It wonít
trigger your printer, but it will take you to a pop-up screen where
you can then tell your printer to print. You can print as many as
you like. Click here

printing on home/office computers.

How do I use the Free Three Game Piece?
The Free Three game piece is a big help to
collecting the lowest possible score. Unlike the other game pieces,
the Free Three is not tied to a specific hole. Rather
the Free Three can be used on any hole you choose. So,
it's smart to use the Free Three to fill in a score
for hole number you have not have collected. Or, use it instead of a
high score you have collected. You can use as many Free
Three as you collect. In theory, you could submit 9
Free Threes for a total score of 27.
